I’m Kevin Mullins, a pastor at Broad River Church in Norwalk, serving couples throughout Lower Fairfield County. With decades of pastoral experience and more than 100 weddings officiated since 1995, I bring a steady presence, creative energy, and a love of a good laugh to your day.
Whether you’re planning a classic church wedding, a relaxed outdoor ceremony, or a vow renewal celebrating the years you’ve shared, we’ll shape it around your story. Traditional readings and language or a lighter, contemporary expression—every ceremony I lead is rooted in Christian faith.

Once you’re booked, we’ll get into your story: how you met, what you love about each other, and what these promises mean to you. My questionnaire gives us a starting point for your included planning session. I’ll help you find the words, readings, and moments that feel like you—with room for both reverence and laughter.

When the day arrives, you won’t have to wonder what comes next. I’ll guide you through the ceremony with a steady hand, a warm heart, and humor where it belongs. Your part? Be there with each other. Say the words. Take in the moment.

Musical performances are an additional service, quoted separately according to your plans.
A few things to know
Before we talk.
Do we need to be Broad River Church members?
No. I perform Christian weddings for couples who are not Broad River Church members. You can inquire about a ceremony at Broad River or another venue.
Is a rehearsal included in the officiant fee?
Yes. When a rehearsal is needed, my participation will be included in your agreed officiant fee. We’ll discuss your ceremony, rehearsal plans, and scheduling when preparing your quote so you know what is included before booking. Venue access is arranged separately.
Can we choose our ceremony music?
Yes. Bring your song ideas to our planning conversation. We are flexible about music, and selections are reviewed as part of the ceremony approval process. Any live musical performance by me is an additional service quoted separately. If your wedding is at Broad River, decorations and music also follow the church’s venue approval process.
What kind of weddings do you perform?
I lead Christian weddings and vow renewals, from formal, traditional ceremonies to relaxed, contemporary celebrations. Whether you’re making these promises for the first time or reaffirming them after years together, we’ll talk about the language, readings, and tone that fit your story and Christian faith.
Is the introductory appointment a planning session?
The complimentary, no-obligation introduction is for initial questions and exploring whether we’re a good fit. Your first ceremony-planning session is part of the paid service after booking.
Do we need to get married at Broad River Church?
You can inquire about having me officiate at Broad River or another venue. Include your location so we can discuss availability and travel arrangements. Officiant services and church space are arranged separately. Explore Weddings at Broad River—spaces, starting prices, and venue availability.
What does officiant pricing include?
Your officiant service includes a ceremony questionnaire, a planning session after booking, and Kevin leading your personalized Christian wedding ceremony. The introductory conversation is complimentary and carries no obligation. Share your date, venue, and plans so we can discuss your fee and confirm the full scope before you book. Live musical performances and church venue rental are arranged and priced separately.
When do we complete the ceremony questionnaire?
After booking, the questionnaire helps us prepare for your included planning session. You don’t need to complete it just to ask about availability.
