Kevin Mullins is a pastor at Broad River and a Christian wedding officiant with decades of pastoral experience. He has officiated more than 100 weddings since 1995.
Traditional or contemporary, simple or full of celebration—your ceremony can be shaped with warmth, creativity, and room for a little laughter.
Officiant services are arranged and priced separately from venue rental.

Parking attendants are required for events of 75 guests or more. We’ll include the appropriate staffing in your quote.

A few things to know
Before you inquire.
Do we need to be Broad River members to rent the church?
No. You do not need to be a Broad River Church member to rent the building for your Christian wedding. We welcome inquiries from couples throughout Fairfield County and beyond.
Can we bring our own pastor or wedding officiant?
Yes. You may bring an outside pastor or officiant, subject to Broad River’s approval process. Please share your officiant’s details when you inquire so approval can be arranged before your wedding.
What decorations and music are permitted?
All decorations and song choices must be approved in advance. We are flexible about music and happy to discuss your ideas. Drip candles require explicit permission, and confetti is not permitted in the sanctuary. Share your plans before purchasing decorations or finalizing your music.
Can we rent the church for our wedding?
Yes. Broad River Church in Norwalk offers venue rental for Christian weddings, with a sanctuary that comfortably seats up to 175 guests and optional spaces for smaller gatherings. Sanctuary rental starts at $600 for four hours, including setup and cleanup. Officiant services are arranged separately. Send your date and estimated guest count to ask about availability and a quote.
How many guests can we invite?
The sanctuary comfortably seats 175 for a wedding. The lobby suits brief gatherings of 20–25, with room for up to 45 standing. The Gathering House seats 40–50. These smaller spaces do not provide a seated reception for a full 175-person ceremony.
What does the rental period include?
The standard rental is four hours total, including setup and cleanup. Include your desired arrival and departure times so we can discuss the full access period you need.
Can Kevin officiate our wedding?
Yes, you can inquire about Kevin’s availability. Venue and officiant services are arranged separately. Learn about Kevin’s ceremonies and availability.
Is audio and video available?
Yes. When sanctuary A/V is used, an A/V fee applies. Tell us about your microphone, music, and video needs so we can discuss the setup and include it in your quote.
Are there additional charges?
A/V, required parking attendants, and Saturday cleaning are additional. Parking requires one attendant for 75–125 guests and two for more than 125. We’ll explain the charges for your plans before you book.
Does an inquiry reserve our date?
No. Your inquiry starts a conversation about availability and fit. Your date is not reserved until booking arrangements are confirmed.
