If you ever get to a place in your life where you feel like something is missing, it’s probably a connection problem: you are disconnected from God and too connected to the world. Prayer and fasting can have a powerful impact on setting your life back on track.
Prayer connects us to God. The more time you spend with something or someone, the more confidence you build in it. The same is true for God. The more time you spend with God, the more your faith in Him will grow. There is no substitute for intimacy with God.
A CALL TO PRAYER & FASTING
From the beginning of Broad River Church, we have made it a priority to seek God first in prayer, trusting in His power alone to create lasting impact in our lives, our church, and our world. We do this collectively as a church in January and September through concentrated seasons of prayer. We pray and fast for 7 Days in the fall and 21 days at the start of each new year.
As we continue to face countless challenges in our world and uncertainty in our nation, we believe the truth of Hosea 10:12, which says, “It is time to seek the Lord, until He comes and showers His righteousness on you.”
September 11 through September 17 we will seek the Lord together through a season of prayer and fasting. Throughout this seven days, we encourage you to be a part our daily prayer services (both in-person and online) and invite you to explore the many resources we have gathered below, including teachings on fasting, prayer guides for adults and children, and more.

Sunday in our 9:30am and 11am gatherings | 7 Day Kickoff
Monday and Tuesday – 6am
Wednesday – 7pm | Worship Night & Prayer
Thursday and Friday – 6am

Prayer and Fasting
During both our fall and winter Seasons of Prayer, we encourage fasting as a spiritual next step that can bring clarity and revelation into your life. You can also choose to fast at other times of the year as you seek God.
